Bourton Roadrunners’ Neil Russell - Running from London to Barcelona

Most of you will know that Neil has Parkinson’s and also about his 2021 challenge, when he completed 36 back-to-back marathons from John O’Groats to Lands end, raising £11k for Parkinsons UK.

For Neil’s latest challenge he will run from London to Barcelona, for the World Parkinsons Congress, starting from Hanover Square, London, 25th May.

You are all welcome to join us on the 25th or at any stage of the journey. On the 25th May there will be a post event coffee and croissant at the offices of Cure Parkinson’s, who are located near to Hanover Square.

As Neil’s partner Nicky points out “I see daily the determination that Neil has to go out and train for this challenge and face Parkinson’s daily, head on. I don’t know how he does it, but it inspires me and I know others with varying abilities and conditions”.
