Please click on the link above for the total points when this sheet was last updated. The totals are compiled from the totals of the sheets below. Please check these sheets just in case we have missed any results or anybody who has helped at any of the Club Races.
ATTENDANCE: The highest number of points per session for Attendance are given in our two winter XC periods for the reason we are a predominantly XC club and want our juniors to do well and improve for school and county XC competitions. High attendance during these encourages better results especially when conditions are not at there best.
As we do not want to penalise anybody on holiday we do not usually award points on Tuesday sessions after a Bank Holiday Weekend. No points are awarded over the Christmas and New Year Break and less points per session are awarded over the Summer XC period as again do not want to penalise those on holiday by too much. The Athletics period is our off more fun period so again less points are awarded over this period.
If you start a session but do not finish a session you will be awarded attendance points.
POINTS FOR SUPPORT: The highest number of points per race are given for supporting the club at the Gloucestershire XC League, not only are running for the club you are gaining valuable experience for your School Competitions.
Points per race vary in Other Races due to various reasons, such as how long we have supported the race, what age groups they are open to and we certainly like our runners to take part in any BRR hosted race such as the Bourton One Mile.
Lastly points are given for Help at BRR Races which currently include the Bourton 10K, Hilly Half and Bourton One Mile. Without support of our Members these races would not go ahead. Proceeds from these races help the running of the club including paying the Cotswold School Fees for Junior Running Club but more importantly helping many charities. If your child is running in the Bourton One Mile and a parent helps to marshall the junior will receive points for running and points for help so certainly worth attending if you can.
PLEASE NOTE: You must be a Member of BRR Juniors at the time of the race and wear a BRR Vest to receive points for any race attended.
