Evesham Park Velo 5K - Wednesday 20th August 2026
On Wednesday evening a small group of Bourton Roadrunners took part in the Evesham Park Velo 5K, held on an enclosed cycle circuit and providing an opportunity for some fast times against a quality field. It was Bourton’s Stephanie Lane who had the edge, finishing first woman in a time of 18 minutes and 8 seconds, just 8 seconds ahead Severn AC’s Alice Tredgett.
Darren Long gave a strong performance delivering 19:56, with Maxine Emes finishing in 22:14, and second-claim member Kevin Goodwill, representing Cheltenham & County Harriers, having been tracked by Darren all the way achieved 19:26.
Wendover Woods Trail Half Marathon - Saturady 22nd August 2026
On Saturday Louise Colwyn took-on the Wendover Woods Trail Half Marathon, on the edge of the Chiltern Hills, near Aylesbury.
Louise selected this challenging course, with its forest tracks and sustained elevation, as part of her preparation for the autumn's Chicago Marathon. Delivering a sound two hours, 33 minutes and 44 seconds was just what the coach had ordered for this stage of her training.
Parkrun - Saturday 22nd August 2026
