Jenner Jog 10k - Sunday 1st March 2026
Bourton Roadrunners had a team of seven runners out this weekend at the Jenner Jog 10K, which was the second event of this year’s Gloucestershire AAA Road Race series and was hosted by New Berkeley Harriers.
Fired by last week’s Bourton 10K, Steph Lane wanted to be back amongst the leaders and was pleased to steer the Bourton team home as second woman overall, in a time of 38 minutes and 37 seconds. She was closely followed by Darren Long in 39:57 and third MV50.
Other Bourton Roadrunners included Maxine Emes 45:50, Tony Goodwill 55:05, Graham Lane 55:48, Pippa Marsden 58:55 and Catherine Garrett 63:11 They were joined by second-claim members Rebecca Townsend (51:41) and Kevin Goodwill (51:42), who were using the event as a training run.
Newport Half Marathon - Sunday 1st March 2026
Meanwhile Lisa Braid travelled to South Wales for the Newport Half Marathon where, despite the rain, she had a strong and enjoyable run completing the 13.1 mile course in a time of one hour, 48 minutes and 32 seconds.
Parkrun - Saturday 28th February 2026
No weekend would be complete without a Park Run , and this weekend Bourton Roadrunners could be found out supporting this
brilliant initiative at the following venues:

Chippenham Playing Fields, Monmouth: Vivien D’Alton – 26:51.
Chipping Norton School: Edward Hare – 18:05 (first overall), Jenny Evanson – 39-04.
Durham: Lee Smith – 27:34.
Fire Service College, Moreton-in-Marsh: Lorna Shawcross – 28:22, John Raper – 30:17, Rob Williams – 36:38.
Seven Fields: Claire Louise Carroll – 26:50 (LV60/2), Louise Hamilton-Smith – 27:23.
Witney: Stepanie Holton – 30:47, Rebecca Townsend – 30:47, Louise Townsend – 34:51, Gary Holton – 34:51.
