Bourton Roadrunners’ Recent Race Reports

Gloucestershire AAA Cross-Country Championships, Tockington - 6th January 2018.

Steph Lane won the gold medal in the Gloucestershire AAA County Cross-Country Championships at Old Down Country Park, Tockington, Bristol, finishing 1st senior lady. Diana Dee achieved silver in the LV50 category and 18th overall - well done Diana (she said she only went to watch twins Kiya and Taya win gold and silver in the U13 girls race!).

Tim Carter finished 10th in the men’s race. Other Bourton men included Mike Smith (43rd), Robin Goodwill (64th), Peter Clardy (69th and 1st MV60), Chris Lomax (74th), Ben (81st), John Gibson (94th), Chris Dry (96th), Bern Cartlidge and Norm Lane (101st and joint-1st MV70).

Report Highlights

Tim Carter finished 10th in the Gloucestershire AAA County Cross-Country Championships at Old Down Country Park, Tockington, Bristol, Saturday 6th January.

Individual County Cross-Country Championship gold medals were awarded to Steph Lane (1st SL), Peter Clardy (1st MV60), Bern Cartlidge and Norm Lane (joint-1st MV70). A well-fought siver medal was won by Diana Dee (2nd LV50); congratulations to all five.
