Blenheim 10k - 22nd October 2017

Nine Bourton Roadrunners braved the wind and chill to take on the Rotary Blenheim 10k on 22nd October raising money for the Oxford Children’s Hospital.

In tough conditions over a beautiful yet undulating course, team Bourton recorded some great results, including 2 personal bests. First home was Tim Carter who was 4th overall in a time of 36:32. The others followed in quick succession. Chris Lomax, 45:22; Kerry Taylor, 47:02 (PB); Graham Lane, 49:38 (2nd V60); Chris Dry, 51:54; Amy Hallam, 52:05 (PB), Gary Holton, 54:51; Steph Holton, 54:52 and Liz Hulcup, 57:19.

Stroud Half Marathon - 22nd October 2017

On the same day, Linda Edwards achieved her goal of running a sub 2-hour half marathon at Stroud. Battling high winds and another tough course, Linda romped home in a new personal best of 1:58:26.
