Bournemouth Marathon - 6 October
On a warm 20+ degree-day by the seaside at the inaugeral Bournemouth marathon, Bourton Roadrunners were represented by Steve Edwards and Darren Long.
Steve running his 602nd marathon recorded negative half way splits of 1:33 and 1:31 to finish in a time of 3:04:33, his best time since May 2011 to take the 1st V50 prize.
Darren just missed out on a 2nd sub 3 this year after recording 3:00:20 for 6th V40 with halfway splits of 1:27 and 1:33.
