Blenheim 7k - 9th May

Beth Pudifoot had a great win in the Blenheim 7k, finishing 20th overall in the race with a time of 28:30. She stormed to victory, leaving her dad Mike in her wake, but with a very respectable time of 29:45.

Berkeley 10k - 10th May

Mike Smith shows he is gradually returning to the form of old with his 4th placing at Berkeley 10K last Monday. With a time of 34:43, he took the first Vet 40 prize on the night. Lewis Gray and Conor Shoemark, the Club's up and coming young stars, backed up superbly with respective times of 36:44 and 37:06, while Ewen Smith is regaining some life in his legs after his gruelling Two Oceans ultra performance 4 weeks ago. Darren Long put in another solid run for 37:59.

It was the first race back for Lucy Walmsley after the birth of her second child and she showed she still has it, recording 41:33 and only just missing out on the prizes in 4th lady place. Rob Humphris was pleased with his time of 43:54 and Jan Short was delighted to achieve a huge PB with 47:53. Just a week after her marathon in Hannover Shirley Creed did well for 48:52. Liz Hulcup was in the prizes with 49:37 giving her first Vet 55, followed in by Susan Hunt 49:57 and Gill Carrick 50:49.
