Races Organised By Other Clubs

The club is an active participant in the Gloucestershire County Road Race series and the County Championships, along with a wide range of other races.

Bourton's men and ladies teams ran brilliantly in the 2008 Cotswold Hilly 100 race on 18th May.   The Ladies' team won with a new course record and the men finished strongly in 3rd place.   Read the race report.

Bourton Roadrunners took part in the Frampton 10k on Monday 14th July.  Read the race report.

The Beacon 10km, organised by the Angels club, will be held on Sunday 7th September, 10.30am, at the Beacon Hotel, Haresfield, Gloucester, GL10 3DX.  An entry form is available to down-load.

Bourton sported a good number of runners at this year's Stratford Marathon & Half Marathon, with several first-timers & PBs including brilliant performances from Chris Hartley, Rob Humphris, Niamh Shoemark & Shirley Creed.  They were all terrifically supported by a massive team of club members, and Gill Carrick has supplied a few photos for your viewing.   IE users can hover over the large version of each picture for a caption.

Current Matters

Get an entry form for this year's Bourton 1 Mile Challenge - Saturday 19th July.  £500 for 1st man under minutes.  £500 for 1st lady under 4 minutes 29 seconds.
